What is NordBooq?
NordBooq is a Danish booking system for salons and clinics. Your clients book themselves online around the clock, every staff member gets their own column in the calendar, and the system sends automatic reminders by SMS and email. All data stays in the EU.
Does NordBooq have an AI phone assistant?
Yes. NordBooq is the first booking system in Denmark with a built-in AI phone assistant. It answers calls in Danish, finds a free slot in your real calendar, books it and sends a confirmation by SMS. It is an add-on, so you can use NordBooq entirely without it.
How is an AI phone assistant different from voicemail?
Voicemail records a message you have to call back about. The AI assistant finishes the job during the call: the appointment is in the calendar when the caller hangs up. It also answers in the evening and at weekends.
Which industries is NordBooq for?
Hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, beauty therapists, lash and brow studios, tattoo artists, massage therapists, foot care specialists, clinics, psychotherapists, dog groomers and more. It suits anyone who books one client at a time with one staff member. It does not suit group classes, clip cards or booking rooms and machines.
Can my clients book without creating an account?
Yes. The client picks a treatment, a staff member and a time, writes their name and phone number, and they are done. There is no account to create and no password to remember.
Can I take a deposit to avoid no-shows?
Yes. You set the rule yourself, for example only on treatments above a certain price. The client sees the amount and your own payment instructions at booking, and you mark it paid yourselves. There is no card payment in the system today.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU. Both your information and your clients' information is hosted and processed in Europe, and the system is built to GDPR with consents on the client card and an activity log showing who did what.
How long does it take to get started?
Most salons are ready in under a week. We help you load in services, staff and opening hours, and you can bring your upcoming bookings across.
Can several staff members use the system at once?
Yes. Every staff member gets their own login and their own column in the calendar, and the permission settings let you decide what each person may see and change.
Is there a NordBooq app?
Apps for the App Store and Google Play are on the way. Until then the system works in the browser on computer, tablet and phone.
What does NordBooq cost?
The price depends on the size of your salon and on whether you want the AI phone assistant. Book a demo and we will work it out with you. There is no lock-in.
Can I get my data back if I leave?
Yes. Your data is yours. You can always have it handed over, and cancelling does not delete anything straight away.
